1 Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; 2 for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away.
3 Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. 4 Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: 6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
What are the two commandments in verse 3 and what is the blessing of doing this?

In v 4 the Psalmist tells us to delight in the Lord. It’s as if he’s saying that nothing brings more happiness in life than a relationship with the Lord. Does your relationship with God bring you the most happiness in your life? Do you consider your faith a joy or a burden?
Question 3
The second part of the verse tells us that God will give us ‘the desires of our hearts’ when we delight in it. If the joy of your life is in the Lord, what are you going to want to get?

Pray that the desires of your heart will please God. Thank Him for being everything to us.
